Brief Sermon Recap: Philippians 4:1-9
Disunity is one of the greatest dangers facing the church and needs to be resolved quickly (4:2-3). Communication is the first thing that needs to take place when conflict arises, a mediator may also need to be present. The truth must be told and a restoration of unity is the greatest priority.
Another danger to the church as well as the individual is anxiety. Anxiety is common to most because the greatest cause of anxiety is life itself. When we think of the future and freak out about we are anxious and must understand our sin, submit ourselves to prayer and put our minds on all things good (4:4-9) which should ultimately lead us to thinking about our Savior.
